The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas Appoints New Director of Sales and Marketing, Rick Blackburn
HENDERSON, NV, August 2, 2005. Award-winning hotel veteran Rick Blackburn has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas.
Mr. Blackburn joins The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas following a 16-year career with Marriott International. His most recent Marriott position, which he has held since 2001, has been as Area Director of Sales & Marketing responsible for the strategic business and marketing leadership of three Marriott hotels and resorts. His prior industry experience also includes senior management posts with the Marriott International Global Sales Organization and for multiple Marriott properties throughout North America. He was a facilitator for Marriott International Sales Schools and the recipient of the Marriott Sales Team Special Achievement Award for North America in 2002. Mr. Blackburn also served as Business Manager for Ricky Craven Motorsports from 1996 to 1998.
