In addition to booking hotel rooms on Marriott.com, online consumers can now make air and car reservations on the same site, even if they're not booking a hotel room.

Customers have said they trust the Marriott name and have asked us to help them address more of their travel planning needs, such as airline and car rental reservations. Marriott Flexrez offers competitive airfare and car rental rates. Marriott.com visitors can now book flights with 60 airlines, including most major U.S. carriers, and they can choose one-way and multiple destination options, as well as round trips. Air reservations can be made by simply typing in the travel destination and dates. They can refine their search by specific airline, fare class, time or even non-stop flights. With Marriott Flexrez, customers can also enter their frequent flyer numbers to earn credit for flights.

In addition to air reservation capabilities, Marriott.com visitors can book car reservations in the U.S. from nine different car rental companies, including Marriott partner Hertz. It's easy to book by just typing in pick-up and drop-off points, rental dates and automobile preference.
