HEI Appoints Joseph White GM of Detroit Metro Airport Marriott

ROMULUS, MI, September 16, 2008. HEI Hotels & Resorts, the nation's fastest growing private owner/operator of hotel real estate, today announced the appointment of Joseph White as the new general manager of the recently renovated Marriott Detroit Metro Airport hotel.

White brings more than a decade's experience in senior hotel and restaurant management positions to HEI. Most recently, he was director of operations for The Westin Southfield in Southfield, Mich, where he led initiatives to increase guest satisfaction scores in all categories for food and beverage, rooms and hotel services. He previously was director of food and beverage with White Lodging Services at the Detroit Marriott Pontiac at Centerpoint hotel in Pontiac, Mich.. In his new position, he will report directly to Tim Digby, HEI regional senior vice president of operations.
