Lynn Carter Named Madison Who's Who 2008 Member of the Year

SEPTEMBER 16, 2008. Lynn Carter, executive vice president and chief technology officer of ReServe Interactive, a leader in hospitality management software solutions, has been named 2008 Member of the Year by Madison Who's Who, a business-to-business and small business networking organization for executives and professionals across the United States. The award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exemplary achievement and distinguished contributions to the business community.
Carter, prior to co-founding ReServe Interactive in 1996 with sister and partner Beth Goodell, served as Founder and President of Usable by Design, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in the design and development of effective user interfaces for high-tech products in a variety of industries. Prior to that, she spent ten years at GE Medical Systems where she led software engineering design teams, and served as global user-interface subsystem leader. It was at GE that Carter began specializing in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and User Interface Design. She pioneered user-centered design processes for the development of new medical imaging systems and became an instructor for leading edge design techniques globally. Carter holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Arizona State University as well as a Master of Business Administration from Marquette University. She also serves as an officer of ReServe Interactive and is a member of its Board of Directors.
