Dolce Valley Forge Begins Phase Three of Renovations

Unveiling New Rooftop Insignia

. October 14, 2008

AUGUST 8, 2008. Dolce International CEO Andy Dolce unveiled the new branding atop Dolce Valley Forge hotel, marking its place in the thriving King of Prussia corridor. The completion of phase three signifies the final phase of a $17 million renovation. The property is entering the last 60 days of a yearlong overhaul of the entire property, including its facade, guest rooms, meeting facilities, dining destinations, recreation areas, lobby and grounds.

"We are excited to begin the final phase of renovations at Dolce Valley Forge," said Dan Santiago, general manager of Dolce Valley Forge. "The new sign and addition of the Dolce brand on top of the hotel solidifies that we are in the home stretch of this major transformation, and we look forward to introducing the completed property to all our guests."

Dolce revealed the signage with help from Santiago and owners Creighton Schneck and Mike Moriarty. The King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Company also was in attendance to lend a hand - and a ladder. To show its appreciation, Dolce Valley Forge made a small donation to the fire company in exchange for its support.

The Valley Forge property, located just outside Philadelphia, expects to finish all renovations by Labor Day of this year. The third phase of the dramatic transformation will include completion of the building facade, the pool and surrounding area, redesign of the final 102 guest rooms for a total of 327, renovations to the second floor meeting space and grand ballroom. It also will include construction of a new business center, Starbucks coffee barista and sundry shop, as well as an updated lobby, which will feature a wine bar with evening service under a dramatic European-inspired open staircase.

Additionally, phase three of renovations will include the completion and opening of world-class dining destination Restaurant THREE01. The 186-seat restaurant will cater to diners of varying tastes with an `a la carte menu inspired by local produce and the freshest ingredients that features the best of what the region has to offer. Influenced by continental cuisine, each dish is a combination of delicious flavors and textures created by Executive Chef Jeffrey Power, who came to Dolce Valley Forge from award-winning Blackfish in Conshohocken where he was Chef de Cuisine.

The unique and rich d'ecor of Three01 parallels the cuisine. Award-winning architect and interior design firm Schoenhardt designed the restaurant, which has 4,300 square feet of dining space, with dramatic details such as 10-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling curtains in select seating areas. Diners are invited to relax amidst the surrounding earth tones, soft curtains, natural light columns and textured walls.

Previous renovations to Dolce Valley Forge included a redesign of the majority of guest rooms, T. Burke's lounge, and an updated fitness center. To better serve corporate clients, Dolce Valley Forge also added 6,500 square feet of dedicated meeting space for a total of 24,000 square feet.

Dolce Valley Forge has future plans to add a spa to elevate the property to a world-class destination for both business and leisure travelers.

Dolce Valley Forge is conveniently located at 301 West DeKalb Pike (Route 202 North), less than a mile north of the King of Prussia Mall. For reservations, please visit www.valleyforge.dolce.com.
