PORT REFREW, Canada, July 30, 2005. Soule Creek Lodge, located 2 hours west of Victoria in Port Renfrew, have added two yurts to their accommodation choices. The Pacific Yurt is a modern adaptation of the ancient shelter used for centuries by Central Asian nomads. The yurt is a circular structure with a durable fabric cover that is generally classified as a tent, but much stronger and weather tight.

These unique structures have all the modern amenities of home including bathroom with shower, a queen bed, bunk bed (single upper, double lower), chaise couch and will sleep up to five comfortably. Soule Creek Lodge sits on top of the San Juan Ridge on 160 acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Washington State's Olympic Peninsula and the world renowned West Coast Trail.

Accommodations also include five private lodge rooms and a cottage, all with ocean views. Owners and chefs, Tim and Jon Cash are members of the Island Chef's Collaborative and prepare exceptional west coast cuisine using organic produce from the lodge garden, hand raised chickens, local seafood and wild mushrooms foraged from the surrounding forests. Rates for the yurts begin at $155.00 CDN per night. For more information click on www.soulecreeklodge.com
