New Board Members and Officers Announced for NIC
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: September 29, 2005. Annapolis, Md. - The National Investment Center for the Seniors Housing & Care Industry (NIC) has announced the officers and new members of its Board of Directors. Their elections are effective for the board's 2005-06 term, which begins on October 1, 2005.
Sarah Sumner Duggan, senior vice president, GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corp., will chair the Board of Directors. Raymond W. Braun, president and chief financial officer, Health Care REIT, Inc., will assume the position of vice chair. Kathryn A. Sweeney, principal, AEW Capital Management, L.P., will be the board's secretary and James J. Pieczynski, managing director, Healthcare Real Estate Group, CapitalSource Finance LLC, will be treasurer.
In addition, Sandy Graves, senior vice president, Owner Services, Sunrise Senior Living; George V. Hager, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer, Genesis HealthCare Corp.; and R. Buford Sears, senior vice president and manager, Health Care Services Group, M&T Bank, were newly elected as board members for three-year terms.
