OAG Expands Online Portfolio
OCTOBER 20, 2006. OAG has recently added an ICAO Traffic Data Module to its OAG Max Online product to enhance the online query tool.
Requiring no IT or database expertise, Max Online offers quick and easy internet access to critical information necessary for competitive advantage in the air transport industry. Built around OAG's schedules database of 1,000 airlines and 3,500 airports, the tool provides the ability to interrogate planned schedules up to a year ahead. Utilising a unique web based query tool, OAG MAX Online enables users to interrogate and analyse complex data to create reports, graphs and charts.
With the ICAO Traffic Data module added, users have access to virtually unlimited market intelligence on worldwide passenger and cargo air transport.
Offered as a premium option package, users can analyse or request for reports on queries such as Air Carrier Statistics, Airport Traffic, Traffic by Flight Stage. This database includes every airline's (including charters) actual passenger numbers dating back to 1992.
George Efkolides, Product Manager commented: "For the first time, we - and our clients - have the ability to interrogate and compare what is planned to happen (OAG schedules data) with what has actually happened (ICAO traffic data) - using just one source - OAG Max Online. This is an incredibly powerful combination."
