Executive Chef Ashley Thompson Takes The Helm at Kimpton Everly Hollywood
Kimpton Everly Hollywood, the boutique Los Angeles hotel that exudes relaxed California sophistication, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chef Ashley Thompson as Executive Chef, ushering in exciting culinary updates including the launch of an all-day brunch at the property's signature restaurant, Jane Q. The new all-day brunch menu offers guests a array of dishes that blend classic favorites with innovative twists, curated by Chef Thompson.

At Kimpton Everly Hollywood, Chef Thompson will oversee all culinary operations for the property's dining experiences, including the new all-day brunch at Jane Q, and new menus at Ever Bar and Cannonball, the rooftop pop-up. The all-day brunch menu at Jane Q, Kimpton Everly's low-key neighborhood café, caters to a variety of palates with spins on classic dishes and Southern California favorites. Highlights include shrimp & grits, strawberry cheesecake waffle, and heartier options like hangar steak & eggs, as well as a selection of bagels including pastrami-cured salmon bagel, the garden bagel and more. Additionally, guests can enjoy sides, pastries, specialty coffee drinks, and a curated selection of wines, beers, and cocktails.
Chef Thompson joins the Kimpton Everly Hollywood team from Promontory Club in Park City, UT, where she worked for five years overseeing the culinary operations of multiple restaurants at the private members club, PGA golf courses, and the opening of the property's signature restaurant and clubhouse. Before that she spent nearly half a decade of working in Branson, MO as the Chef De Cuisine at Hyatt Vacation Club and Missouri and studied hospitality management at University of Arkansas while apprenticing at Ashley's at The Capital-Capital Hotel in Little Rock.
Chef Thompson developed a love of cooking from her mother and grandmother, and draws inspiration from chefs such as Rick Bayless, Susan Feniger, and Nancy Silverton. Outside of the kitchen, Chef Thomspon enjoys exploring new places, trying different foods, visiting her family in Arkansas and activities such as hiking and yoga.
