Javier Tor Appointed New Director for Marketing and Business Management, OD Hotels
Balearic boutique hotel group OD Hotels has appointed Javier Tor Nuevo as Director for Marketing and Business Management. Based in the company's headquarters in Ibiza, Tor takes over management of the company's branding activities and assumes responsibility for the marketing of the company's five operating hotels, located in Ibiza, Mallorca and Barcelona. Additionally, Tor will lead the launch of the company's leap into the international market with OD Cote d'Azur and OD Miami opening in 2019 and 2020 respectively. The appointment is effective immediately.
For over 20 years in the industry, Tor has held a number of management positions in the Commercial and Sales Departments in HUSA Hotels, ABBA Hotels, IBB Hotels, and HCI International. Most recently, he was Commercial Director of Iberostar's Grand Hotel Portals Nous in Mallorca. Prior to, he headed up the Commercial and Management Department of the luxury Ibiza Gran Hotel and the Casino of Ibiza as well. Originally from Barcelona, he is a graduate in hotel management with additional training in enology and protocol.
