. February 18, 2014

February 18, 2014 - The Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe is pleased to announce the launch of the new website (www.druryplazasantafe.com). The new website is optimized to create the same user experience across all platforms including desktop computers, tablets and mobile devices. The site is designed to bring the magic of the property opening in August to the digital booking experience.

“We've been working hard on the development of our website and are thrilled to be launching it,” says Tauseen Malik, General Manager. “Our vision was to create an easy-to-navigate, immersive and interactive user experience. We've integrated tailored local content and links to our social media assets so our guests can not only make reservations with ease and simplicity, but they can further engage with the vibrant Santa Fe culture throughout the booking process.”

The Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe website features a sleek design, functionality and a seamless booking process that takes the guest through the reservation process in less than four clicks. The site also provides links to top attractions and destinations in Santa Fe and an interactive Google Map. Guests will also be able to access all of the Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe's social media outlets at: www.facebook.com/drurysantafe. www.linkedin.com/company/drury-plaza-hotel-santa-fe, www.twitter.com/DrurySantaFe, www.instagram.com/druryplazahotelsantafe on every page.

The easy to navigate website will also serve as a place for locals to share their memories and photos. The renovated buildings are important landmarks in Santa Fe. In the 1910s, the property was a dormitory for the Sisters of Charity. The primary façade is from the 1950s St. Vincent's Hospital by John Gaw Meem and is an excellent example of late Territorial Revival style. The hospital remained there until 1977. After that, the building housed numerous important New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs offices. All of these past entities are an integral part of Santa Fe's rich history.

The Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe will be the first large hotel to open in downtown Santa Fe in 18 years. Five acres of dormant space the intersection of Palace Avenue and Paseo de Peralta is being revived to include beautiful pedestrian walkways and gardens. The former St. Vincent Hospital is being transformed into a full-service hotel with 182 rooms, a restaurant, a year-around, heated rooftop bar and pool with stupendous views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains along with a 3,800-square-foot ballroom. There will be retail and gallery space on the Paseo de Peralta side of the property. The fully renovated buildings are steeped in history.

“We'll also be sharing much of the long and important history of the property on our website,” adds Malik. “The hospital buildings hold colorful memories of the past which will be showcased on our new website.”
