Trump Beach Resort Appoints Mark Young as Director of Catering & Conference Services

Sunny Isles Beach, FL - January 3, 2013 - Trump International Beach Resort, a contemporary Forbes four-star oceanfront resort located in the exclusive enclave of Sunny Isles Beach, today announced that they have appointed Mark Young as Director of Catering and Conference Services. In his new role, he will be responsible with overseeing and managing all aspects of the Resort's catering and conference services, as well as ensuring the program's successful execution through direct marketing and sales efforts.

Mr. Young brings more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a particular focus on upscale hotel and special event venues, conference and catering planning and execution, and food and beverage management. His industry niche makes him uniquely qualified to assist Trump International Beach Resort in expanding its catering and conference services as it relates to large weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs and charitable galas.

He has held leadership positions in resorts and special event venues throughout the United States and Caribbean, where his clientele included Fortune 500 sales and incentive programs, Board of Director retreats; product launches; national and state association gatherings; presidential, gubernatorial and royal visits; international food and wine societies; and celebrity events.

Prior to joining Trump International Beach Resort, Mr. Young served as the Director of Catering and Conference Services at the Westin Maui Resort & Spa, where he was credited with achieving significant banquet and catering revenue growth under his leadership. He additionally served as the Director of Food and Beverage and Catering Sales for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, where he successfully achieved an increase in annual food and beverage revenues and net profitability.

Mr. Young attended the University of Florida where he received his Bachelor's of the Arts degree in History and Political Science. He has also received subsequent education from the Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration's Professional Development Program. Mr. Young has been involved with an array of notable professional organizations within the hospitality industry, including MPI, ISIS and NACE.
