HENDERSONVILLE, TN - December 19, 2012 - TravLynx, a leading hospitality technology company supporting reservations for over 5,000 hotels worldwide, has enhanced its senior management team with the addition of three experienced executives, including Tony Gruen as Chief Information Officer (CIO), Jen Templeton as Director of Marketing and Jamie Unger as Director of Contact Center and Account Management.

"With the additions to our management team, TravLynx has a superior balance of strong hospitality, technology, marketing, and leadership skills with more than 100 years of industry tenure between them," said Kristin Intress, President and CEO of TravLynx. "With this team in-place leading our organization, I am confident that clients will reap the benefits with bottom-line results that solidify why TravLynx is the best choice for all their reservations and marketing needs."

As CIO Gruen will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the TravLynx 24x7x365 customer-facing ASP, local area network including all hardware & software user support, and telecom solutions.

Gruen began his hotel career while earning a Business Administration degree at North Carolina State University and went on to manage corporate and resort properties for major brands including Sheraton, Hilton and Embassy Suites in North Carolina, Florida and California. He has led numerous PMS installation teams for properties converting from manual operations to computerized systems.

After 10 years in hotel management, Gruen pioneered the development of online data collection and web registration systems for Carlson Marketing Group. In the early 1990s, he and his teams were among the first to build online user profile systems for clients collecting data online. This advanced web development led to several years of consulting and two technology startups in California before Gruen joined the TravLynx team as CIO.

As Director of Marketing, Templeton is responsible for coordinating all marketing and communications as well as supporting sales efforts for the four company brands - TravLynx, InnLink, VisitUs and InnVite.

She brings over 15 years experience to the TravLynx team and has worked with some of the largest brands in the world such as American Express, Daimler Chrysler and Citibank. Her experience working in all areas of marketing and advertising, both client- and agency-side, as well as her years working in global markets such as Russia, Germany and the UK, bring a unique perspective to the team.

Templeton began her career in hospitality working for Gaylord Opryland Hotel while earning her degree from Middle Tennessee State University. From there, she went on to work for a variety of companies including a professional Hockey Team in Moscow, various top advertising agencies around the world and most recently served as Global Director of Marketing for Magellan Global.

As the new Director of Contact Center and Account Management, Unger's responsibilities include managing the Call Center and Account Management as well as Customer Service teams for TravLynx. Unger's focus will be on exceeding the needs of clients while creating new recurring revenue streams.

Unger joined the company with over 15 years of experience in the travel industry, managing call centers with consistent success and double-digit growth. After working with Wyndham's Day's Inn brand, she was with World Travel Holdings (formerly National Leisure Group, the largest cruise sales agency in the USA), where she held numerous management and leadership positions in sales, operations and contact centers.
