Nevada and California Properties Join Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI)

July 10, 2010 - Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) has expanded its portfolio offerings in the West U.S. with the addition of the new Loews Hollywood Hotel in Hollywood, California, and the impressive Ravella at Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, Nevada. The hotels will now receive dedicated Global Sales Organization (GSO) services and support by ALHI and its established professional sales force throughout North America to serve the meetings and incentive marketplace.

A cultural landmark, Loews Hollywood Hotel was previously the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel before it was acquired by Loews Hotels & Resorts in June 2012. The 20-story hotel, which will undergo a $26 million renovation in 2013, features 632 guest rooms and suites, over 150,000 square feet of versatile meeting space, a spa, a 5th floor outdoor heated pool, and a fitness center. The Loews Hollywood Hotel is part of the Hollywood & Highland Center, giving guests direct access to the 460,000-square-foot center containing over 80 shops, 26 restaurants and eateries, two nightclubs, seven movie screens, eight bars, 12 bowling lanes, the newly renamed Dolby Theatre, which is where the Academy Awards® are held and also features IRIS, Cirque du Soleil's newest production and first resident show in Los Angeles. Additionally, Wolfgang Puck Catering will continue to partner with Loews in the operation and catering of the 25,000-square-foot ballroom located in the Hollywood & Highland Center complex. Loews Hollywood Hotel is also conveniently accessible to the Hollywood Bowl amphitheater, Universal Studios Hollywood theme park and movie studio, and Los Angeles International Airport. Situated in the heart of the movie-making capital of the world, the hotel provides spectacular views of the world-famous Hollywood sign and along the renowned Walk of Fame.

Loews Hollywood Hotel becomes ALHI's sixth offering in the Greater Los Angeles area, joining Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel (Santa Monica); Terranea (Rancho Palos Verdes); The Langham Huntington (Pasadena); The Resort at Pelican Hill (Newport Beach); and Island Hotel Newport Beach (Newport Beach).

The AAA Four-Diamond Ravella at Lake Las Vegas is a Mediterranean-style lakeside retreat nestled within the scenic Southern Nevada landscape. Located just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip and Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport, the resort offers sweeping views of the mountains, desert hills and the picturesque 320-acre Lake Las Vegas. Offerings at the 15-acre resort include 349 guest rooms and suites, and 39,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting and event space, which include an 11,813-square-foot ballroom and two elegantly appointed boardrooms. The resort, which was formerly the Ritz-Carlton on Lake Las Vegas before its rebranding and opening in 2011, also features the elegant 30,000-square-foot Spa at Ravella, a lagoon with a white-sand beach, and a resort-sized pool with cabanas. Paddleboats, kayaking, canoeing, yacht tours, hiking, and biking are other recreational options, as are the nearby casinos and world-class golf.

Ravella at Lake Las Vegas, a Dolce Hotel & Resort, becomes ALHI's single offering in Lake Las Vegas. Other ALHI offerings in Nevada, along the Las Vegas Strip, include such acclaimed resorts as ARIA Resort & Casino and the adjacent Vdara at CityCenter; Bellagio; Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and THEhotel; Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas; MGM Grand and The Signature; Monte Carlo Resort and Casino; and The Mirage.

In addition to becoming a new offering in ALHI's worldwide portfolio, Loews Hollywood Hotel also becomes the newest member of the “ALHI Big Box Collection,” which consists of ALHI's 23 member hotels and resorts that offer more than 500 rooms, feature over 50,000 square feet of meeting space each, and have at least one 20,000-square-foot ballroom. The hotel also becomes the newest member featured in the “ALHI City Solutions Collection,” featuring ALHI's 52 Four- and Five-Diamond quality city center hotels which are specifically designed to serve meetings and programs.

In addition to its membership in ALHI's worldwide portfolio Ravella at Lake Las Vegas becomes the newest offering in the “ALHI Entertainment & Gaming Solutions Collection,” consisting of 28 Four- and Five-Diamond resorts and hotels in the U.S. and abroad that provide hallmark entertainment and/or gaming. The resort also joins as the newest member of the “ALHI Mountain Collection,” which features 26 impressive options for planners desiring to conduct programs with inspiring mountain views as a backdrop.
