The chain has just purchased a plot in Manhattan, next to Times Square, where it will build a hotel from its Riu Plaza city product line
June 28, 2012 - The chain has just entered into a contract to purchase a plot in the heart of Manhattan, just a stone's throw away from Times Square. To be specific, the Riu Plaza New York Times Square will be situated where 8th Avenue meets 46th Street, surrounded by the most famous theatres on Broadway and next to 'Restaurant Row', an area that is home to modern and original restaurants which invite travellers to sample the latest gastronomic trends. Another major attraction of this prime location is its proximity to the city's main attractions such as Central Park, Carnegie Hall and the luxurious boutiques on Fifth Avenue.
