HVMG Awarded Management of DuPage Expo Center in St. Charles, IL

March 14, 2012 - Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), a privately owned hotel ownership and management group based in Atlanta, today announced that it has assumed management of the DuPage Expo Center, in St. Charles, IL.

Featuring more than 23,000 square feet of column-free carpeted space, the DuPage Expo Center is located 35 miles west of downtown Chicago, 25 miles from O'Hare International Airport and only two miles from historic downtown St. Charles. It recently underwent an expansion that added floor space, technology upgrades, and additional conveniences.

The DuPage Expo Center is owned by Oakbrook Companies. Last month, Oakbrook Companies tapped HVMG to manage three other hotel and conference center properties it owns in St. Charles:

• Hilton Garden Inn St. Charles which is adjacent to the DuPage Expo Center and offers 120 guestrooms and 4,129 square feet of meeting space.
• The Advanced Center for Training which is attached to the Hilton Garden Inn St. Charles and offers 20,000 square feet of IACC-certified meeting and conference space.
• Holiday Inn Express Chicago-St. Charles which is located three miles from the DuPage Expo Center and offers122 guest rooms and1,500 square feet of meeting space.

HVMG added eight hotels to its portfolio in 2011 (a 36% growth rate) and already has added five hotels in 2012 so far. In 2010, HVMG added seven hotels (a 33% growth rate) despite one of the tougher operating and growth environments in the history of the hotel industry.
