Michigan Best Western Rebrands as Magnuson Grand Hotel - Lakefront Paradise
December 14, 2011 - Magnuson Hotels, the world's largest independent hotel group, announced today the complete rebranding of the Magnuson Grand Hotel - Lakefront Paradise. Formerly a Best Western of eleven years, the 41-room luxury hotel seeks to upgrade its local, regional and national market position through its affiliation with the Magnuson Grand Hotels brand designation.
“We didn't like being forced to make unnecessary changes with high costs by a certain deadline, which is what our previous franchise was doing,” stated hotel owners Jim and Shirley Stabile. “We are very excited to have control over what is best for our customers," added General Manager Laurie Winkler.
