Singapore - December 2, 2011 - Orchard Hotel Singapore welcomes you to our Christmas Glass House decorated with an array of life-size snowmen from around the world for all your Christmas goodies. Surprise your loved ones with tasty treats that are fresh out of Orchard's oven. Alternatively invite them for a Christmas feast at Orchard Cafe or Hua Ting. There is something for everyone at the hotel this festive season.

CHRISTMAS GOODIES HOUSE (lobby)

A picture perfect white Christmas with the largest collection of indoor snowmen!

Experience “winter” in the tropics with a family of more than hundred colourful snowmen at our two-storey-high Snowmen's Glass House. Taking 3 months to craft, this unique Christmas goodies house is indeed a work of art! To complement the theme, Orchard Hotel has come up with a snowmen's hamper, filled with an assortment of snowmen to delight the kids!

Fill your Christmas table with a delightful mix of festive goodies from the Snowmen's Glass Goodies House. For a classic turkey with a twist, opt for Hua Ting's Cantonese Roasted Turkey stuffed with Herbs and Spices.

This year's new offerings include Chocolate and Candied Fruit Christmas Cake, Almond Speculoos Cookies and Orchard Signature Stollen. Not to be missed is Chef Christoph's Nougats which are prepared according to his secret recipe!

For those who seek an unusual premium gift set, Chef Christoph's brainchild The 'Xtravagant Xmas Bird' priced at $688 is the answer! The Guinea Fowl with all the toppings and extras can be served as a complete meal from appetizer, main and dessert and will feed 4-6 gourmet connoisseurs! This feast consists of a Guinea Fowl filled with Foie Gras and Truffle, garnished with Porcini Mushroom stuffed Vol Au Vent, Mini braised Red Cabbage, Savoury Chestnut Cupcake, Old Port Jus, 30g of exclusive Sturgeon Caviar, Home cured graved Lax & Blinis and Gold Dusted Chocolate Ganache Tarts. Advance order of 5 days is required for this special Christmas Bird.

CHRISTMAS CAROLLING (lobby) Sing-A-Long with the choir and enjoy their rendition of popular Christmas songs! Between 20 and 23 December from 7:30pm and from 6:45pm on 24 December; 12:45pm on 25 December at the Hotel Lobby.

ORCHARD CAFÉ (lobby level)
Round up the office entourage, friends and family to feast on a tantalising assortment of "mouthwatering gifts" at Orchard Cafe. In addition to the traditional Roast Turkey with Cranberry Stuffing and Honey Glazed Ham, indulge in succulent roasts, bountiful seafood and other festive goodies. From Oysters with Champagne Sauce to Roasted Duck with Dark Cherries and Venison Rack with Red Cabbage. That's not all, make sure you save space for desserts! Those with a sweet tooth can delight in the collection of deserts, which include Signature Yule Log Cakes, Traditional Mince Pies, and Xmas Pudding Pancakes with Brandy Sauce and more mouthwatering items.

Orchard Cafe's Christmas Eve Buffet is served from 12.00pm - 2.30pm at $55 per adult, $27.50 per child for lunch, from 3.00pm - 5.00pm at $42 per adult and $21 per child for hi-tea and from 6.00pm - 10:30pm at $88 per adult, $44 per child for dinner.

On Christmas day, Family Brunch is served from 11.30pm - 2.30pm at $65 per adult, $32.50 per child, Buffet Hi-Tea is from 3.00pm - 5.00pm at $42 per adult and $21 per child and Buffet Dinner from 6.00pm - 10.30pm at $78 per adult and $39 per child.

Orchard Cafe offers Pre-Festive Buffet Lunches, High Tea and Dinners from 10 to 23 and 26 to 30 December 2010. Pre-festive Buffet Lunch on Mondays to Fridays starts from 12.00pm - 2.30pm at $45 per adult, $22.50 per child and on Saturdays and Sundays at $50 per adult, $25 per child. Pre-festive Buffet High Tea is served from 3.00pm - 5.00pm at $35 per adult, $17.50 per child and on Saturdays and Sundays at $38 per adult, $19 per child. Pre-festive Buffet Dinner is served from 6.00pm - 10.30pm on Sundays to Thursdays at $55 per adult, $27.50 per child, and on Fridays and Saturdays at $60 per adult, $30 per child.

HUA TING (level 2)
Add an Oriental touch to your Christmas celebrations with Hua Ting's set menus. Featuring favourites such as Braised Sliced Abalone with Spike Sea Cucumbers and Seasonal Greens in Superior Oyster Sauce, Baked Pork Ribs with Lemon Grass, Chilled Baby Lobster with Fruit Salad and Pan Fried Scallop Balls in Mayonnaise Sauce, Braised Mian Xian with Sliced Fish in Egg Sauce, Steamed Live Soon Hock with Superior Soya Sauce, Sauteed Fresh Scallops with Seasonal Greens in XO sauce and Crispy Roasted duck. Have a jolly season with Masterchefs' cooking!

Hua Ting's Christmas Set Menus are available on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for lunch from 11.00am - 2.30pm and dinner from 6.30pm - 10.30pm at $98 or $118 (min. 2 persons). Set menus for 8 and 10 persons are also available at $668 and $888 respectively.
