New Mazatlan Property for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts

Las Villas Resort becomes the seventh Wyndham-branded hotel in the country.

NOVEMBER 3, 2011 - Mexico has always held an allure for Canadians — the culture, the beauty, the people, and the weather. And Mazatlan remains a popular destination of choice for many Canadians seeking a winter getaway, even for just a couple of weeks.

Recognizing the continuing attraction of the region, Wyndham Hotel Group LLC has added the 68-room Wyndham Las Villas Resort Mazatlan to the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts brand's growing portfolio. Las Villas Resort becomes the seventh Wyndham-branded hotel in the country.

The full-service resort, formerly the Las Villas Hotel & Spa, is owned by Club Acquisition Company of Colorado.

And for many Canadians visiting Mazatlan on a regular basis, the Wyndham Las Villas Resort Mazatlan is located inside the gates of an already recognized destination — Estrella del Mar. Sitting on about six kilometres of secluded beach, Wyndham Las Villas Resort Mazatlan is inside the gates of this master-planned community on 326 hectares along the Mexican Riviera.
