Crowne Plaza Dubai Promotes Georges Farhat to Hotel Manager
Dubai - October 25, 2011 - Crowne Plaza Dubai is delighted to announce the promotion of Georges Farhat from Resident Manager to Hotel Manager.
Since joining as a management trainee in 1994, shortly after the hotel's opening, Mr. Farhat has continuously risen up the ranks, demonstrating an appetite for knowledge and a talent for hospitality.
General Manager, James Young, appointed Farhat in his new role on 1 October 2011. Young credits Farhat as playing “a major role by contributing to the development of Crowne Plaza Dubai through driving hotel revenue, Guest satisfaction and Employee engagement.”
Throughout his seventeen years with the property Farhat has always maintained strong relations within the local community including government officials, community organizations and IHG corporate offices, all of which allowed the hotel to thrive in its environment.
Farhat is excited to take on the new challenges that accompany his new role, however will continue to develop his team members across all departments as he believes growth within the team is instrumental in delivering successful customer service.
