Redmond, WA - June 13, 2011 - The dust has settled at the Redmond Marriott Town Center, as the hotel has completed a revolutionary three-month, million dollar renovation.

According to Daniel Angellar, General Manager, the overall renovation goal was to incorporate Marriott's latest signature design elements into the hotel by providing guests with more places to relax, work, and dine at the property.

Guests who enter the hotel will immediately notice the renovated lobby. Now conceived as a Great Room, the lobby has become a multi-use venue which provides a variety of zones including a "welcome zone" to check in, an "individual zone" for guests to unwind or work, a "social zone" where groups can can meet and spend time together, and a "business zone with a multi-functional board room with audio/visual equipment, revamped business center, and quiet spaces for private conversations.

Just off the lobby is the new Day/Night Bar, where there is a morning coffee bar serving Peet's Coffee and grab and go breakfast items, while come nightfall, it turns into a traditional bar with wine, cocktails, and award-winning regional crafted brews. There is also an upgraded central media hub with three wide-screen TVs hovering above the center bar island.

SEAR fire.inspired.american is the name of the hotel's new restaurant which features various cuts of steak as well as fresh wild salmon and salmon chowder, a 14-ounce pork chop, a Northwest salad made from local ingredients plus a number of sides including creamed spinach, sweet potato fries, and sea salt baked potatoes. There is also a new Chef's Table for the ultimate in an interactive dining experience with Chef Steve Scaia.

The final element of the renovation is a complete redo of the Concierge Lounge which includes an exterior patio, enhanced seating, media and technology upgrades, and a business center with boarding pass printer.
