SAN FRANCISCO, CA, April 29, 2011. HotelExecutive.com, the leading online hotel industry business resource is pleased to announce that Rene Lewis, SPHR, CPBA, has joined the journal as a contributing editor to the publication's primary business journal, the Hotel Business Review.

Lewis is the Director of Human Resources for Signature Worldwide based in Dublin, Ohio, which specializes in business and training solutions for hospitality as well as other industries. She is responsible for talent management, employee relations, leadership training and strategic organizational planning. Lewis brings nearly fifteen years of human resources experience to Signature Worldwide. Her experience includes such organizations as Red Envelope (now owned by Provide Commerce), Orange County California, Gap Inc. and Caterpillar Logistics Services. Lewis's mix of large and small, public and private, enterprises affords her a broad scope of human resources experience.

Lewis holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from The Ohio State University, with a concentration in International Relations. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Human Resources Institute. She is also a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst (CPBA), through Targeted Training International.

Lewis is a frequent speaker at company events, as well as at various conventions inside and outside of the hospitality industry. She consults in areas of HR compliance and employment law and often advises on organizational and talent development opportunities.
