ISHC Now Accepting Nominations for the 2011 Pioneer Award
Naples, FL - June 11, 2010 - The International Society of Hospitality Consultants is now accepting nominations for the 2011 ISHC Pioneer Award. Nominations are being accepted until June 30, 2010. Winners are selected based on following criteria: active involvement in the industry, contributions to the industry, and personal/organizational attributes and qualities:
- Active Involvement in the Industry -- An individual or organization is actively involved in consulting, planning, developing, marketing, managing and/or improving one or more dimension of the hospitality industry which benefits developers, investors, operators and guests within: associations, lodging, cruise ships, educational institutions and others.
- Area of contribution - The contribution should benefit the hospitality industry in terms or one or more of the following: new product development or repositioning, training/education, trend-setting model, profitability of the industry, quality assurance strategic alliances, market research and/or diversity.
- Personal Organization Attributes and Qualities - An individual/organization must consistently possess certain attributes and adheres to the professional standards that are recognized and respected by industry peers. Please review the nomination form for details.
The Pioneer Award was established in 1996 by ISHC to recognize individuals making an outstanding contribution, achievement and or improvement in the hospitality industry. Previous award winners include: include Leland Pillsbury, Leland C. Pillsbury, J.W. Marriott, Christel DeHaan, Bill Kimpton, Jonathan M. Tisch, Michael Leven and Randell A. Smith, and many more. The award is presented each year at the Americas Lodging Investment Conference.
