Renovations Completed at Philadelphia Crowne Plaza
OCTOBER 23, 2009 - Gulph Creek Hotels, a leading Mid Atlantic hotel development and management company, is pleased to announce the completion of an $8 million renovation to the 333-room Crowne Plaza located on City Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The renovation included all guest rooms; an indoor and outdoor pool; a complimentary 24-hour Fitness Center, equipped with strength and cardiovascular machines; a Business Center with high-speed Internet, copy and fax machines, courier service and much more; Avenue Grill Restaurant; lobby and meeting space as part of the conversion of the property from a Holiday Inn. Gulph Creek Hotels took over operation of the hotel in May 2009.
