SAN FRANCISCO, CA, August 7, 2006. The Higgins Group, parent company of Higgins Purchasing Group and Boxport, leaders in full-service procurement, branded retail programs and residential furnishings systems and services for the luxury hospitality and construction industries, today announced a joint venture with Hotels at Home. The strategic alliance created will provide hospitality clients with retail solutions that allow guests to purchase exclusive products featured at luxury hotels worldwide.

The joint offerings of The Higgins Group and Hotels at Home provide hospitality clients seamless, turnkey service from start to finish. By working in tandem with Higgins Purchasing Group and Hotels At Home, developers and operators can plan, identify the selection of initial merchandise and negotiate the long term re-supply of fixtures, equipment, furnishings and retail merchandise in advance - consolidating brand standards, achieving discounts and increasing operational efficiencies. When properties become operational, retail catalog and online storefront programs managed by Hotels At Home generate additional revenue streams and extend the hospitality brands into the home by enabling guests to purchase highly desirable hotel items for personal use.

"It is exciting to see our two companies come together with such great synergies and positive solutions for our clients," said Cary Schirmer, CEO of The Higgins Group.

Six years ago HPG managed the global deployment of Starwood's highly successful Heavenly Bed program with over 50,000 beds while Hotels at Home has managed the guest purchase fulfillment program since its inception and is still presently managing the retail sale of the Heavenly Bed and other hotel related designer merchandise directly to hotel guests and other customers. Since 1989 HPG has furnished and renovated over 2000 luxury hotels worldwide. Hotels at Home has 400,000 guestrooms currently active with established retail programs.

"It is a pleasure to partner with an industry leader like HPG who understands the hospitality business and excels in supply chain management," said Robin Ware, Vice President of Operations for Hotels at Home.
