St. Augustine's Historic Inns Offer Holiday Tours

. October 14, 2008

ST. AUGUSTINE, FL, December 7, 2006. Twenty-five of the oldest city's best inns will show off their holiday finery on Saturday and Sunday, December 9 and 10 when the St. Augustine Historic Inns conduct the 13th Annual Bed and Breakfast Tour. The tour, one of the highlights of the holiday season, not only provides a great opportunity to experience Christmas decorations with a Victorian-era flavor, but it also helps fund EPIC Community Services, a non-profit organization that provides counseling to teenagers.

This year's tour takes place over two days with half of the inns on display each day from 2 to 5 p.m. In addition to the festive decorations, each inn will offer visitors a sample of holiday treats specially prepared by St. Augustine's finest restaurants, confectioners and the San Sebastian winery. Although primarily a walking tour, special shuttles provided by Old Town Trolleys will take ticket holders around the city.

During the tour, refreshments and holiday treats provided by local restaurants will be available. Ticket donations are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event. Tickets can be obtained at any of the Inns on the tour. For more information call 904.829.2273 or 904.829.3295, or visit www.StAugustineInns.com.

The 13th Annual Tour of Historic Inns is supported in part by a grant from the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council.
