Hotel de la Paix Officially Opens

SIEM REAP, Cambodia, August 1, 2005. H^otel de la Paix, which sets the standards for chic design, opened its doors in Siem Reap with a soft launch on 25 July, 2005. A member of Small Luxury Hotels, H^otel de la Paix brings a totally unique guest experience to Cambodia.

Created by internationally-acclaimed designer Bill Bensley, the five-star boutique hotel offers 107 fashionable rooms and suites. The hotel, located only six kilometres from the magnificent UNESCO-world heritage site of Angkor, is set around an inner courtyard of gardens and Khmer-style water features. The design is complemented by Khmer influences that embrace the future while respecting the past.

H^otel de la Paix offers guests a unique lifestyle experience with hi-tech amenities. Room facilities include state-of-the-art i-Pods with music and historical narrative which are available for outside excursions. DVD players are provided in all 23 suites.

At H^otel de la Paix's Spa Indochine, guests can indulge in soothing treatments in one of the five individual therapy rooms or in the luxury of a private, open-air Spa suite. The hotel also provides a library with an array of cultural books, a wine cellar with world-class wines, and two restaurants with eclectic fare ranging from seasonally-inspired Khmer cuisine to international dishes.

To celebrate H^otel de la Paix's launch, an exclusive offer of three nights for the price of two is available until 31 October, 2005. A stay in a Deluxe Room, which would normally cost US$300 per night, is now available for US$165 per night including breakfast for 2 persons.
