Sheriton Estates Debuts in Anguilla
NOVEMBER 2, 2006. Sheriton Estates is scheduled to open three villas- Harmony, Infinity and Mystique- nearby St. Martin, on November 23, 2006.
The contemporary architectural and interior design reflect a fusion of Caribbean and Asian influences and is the vision of Anguillan owner and contractor, Sheridan Smith.
"My goal was to create a gracious villa estate that is unparalleled in offering Caribbean elegance, seamless service and first rate amenities," says Smith who named the estate to honor his youngest son. The 20 room, 7 pool trio of residences offers weekly rates with inclusive services that aim to satisfy guest requests 24 hours a day. The services range from a personal villa chef and concierge, round trip airport transfers and private transport to Maundays Bay Beach and the St. Regis golf course (also debuting in November), in addition to complimentary offerings such as afternoon canap'es and turn down service. Anguilla is already the destination for privacy seekers and jet setters, and it is those individuals that Sheriton Estates will attract. "We offer a retreat that will inspire those who are looking for an exquisite getaway coupled with an unobtrusive staff providing ardent personalized service," says General Manager Jeannine Connor-Gittens of her objective. The most exclusive service will be for those who wish to be transported to the property aboard a plush 7-seat Cessna Citation II jet with non-stop flights that can originate in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport, Atlanta or San Juan. However, for guests who need connections to those locations, a crew member will personally oversee their transition.
The crown jewel of the three villas is Villa Mystique, an impressive 21,000 sq ft. gem which joins 5 Grand Villa Suites with two bridges that connect to the main living area, infinity edge bathtubs in most of the 7 bathrooms, three pools, a full gym and optional garden suite. Villas Harmony and Infinity mirror one another in design with 14,000 sq. ft., 7 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms with the signature infinity edge bathtubs completed by 2 pools per villa. With exotic hardwoods, Italian marble and travertine, hand carved beds from Burma and state of the art technology, these villas offer style and luxury without sacrificing the demands of modern life.
There is also a conference facility which enlarges Sheriton Estates plans to host corporate retreats, provide an entertainment venue for weddings or house a family reunion for the multi-generational travelers. As for future projects, a botanical garden is slated for completion by spring 2007, in addition to a helipad and spa in 2008. Sheriton Estates is launching as a premier destination for discerning guests who crave a unique experience that goes beyond traditional hotel services to one that offers an extravagant home away from home.
