Top Chef Greenaway Joins City Inn, Glasgow

City Inn has announced the appointment of Mark Greenaway as Head Chef of City Caf'e Glasgow.

OCTOBER 26, 2006. Armed with a wealth of culinary experience, Mark has worked in the industry for over 15 years. Relocating to Australia in 1999, Mark spent seven years at a number of the country's most renowned restaurants, including Minc and the Grand National, where as Head Chef, he was awarded the coveted 'Chef's Hat' by the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide. Returning to the UK, Mark has been Head Chef at Strata, and most recently at Room.

As Head Chef, Mark will continue to build on the success of City Caf'e, using his own flair to maintain the restaurant's ethos of innovation, seasonality, quality ingredients and original flavours.

Mark is confident his vast experience, ambition and skills will help him maintain City Caf'e as a destination eatery in Glasgow.

He will be responsible for the 70-cover modern European restaurant, which increases to 130 during summer months, courtesy of the 60-cover riverside terrace, as well as three private dining rooms and room service.
