Lancaster County Convention Center Expands Sales Team
JULY 11, 2008. The Lancaster County Convention Center and LancasterMarriott at Penn Square has recently hired Andee Cornelius as director of group sales, aswell as Sarah Heath and Lyndsay Quino as sales managers. Their responsibilities includesales for the integrated facility of both the convention center and the adjoining 300-roomhotel, a combined 90,000 square feet of meeting space, scheduled to open in March 2009.www.lancasterconventioncenter.com
Previously, Cornelius worked in sales and catering at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey formore than two decades, including the last seven-plus years as director of sales &marketing. She holds a degree in Travel and Tourism from Central Penn BusinessCollege.
Heath has worked in food operations and meeting services at different hospitalityproperties in the Philadelphia area, most recently at the Sheraton Philadelphia City Center,overseeing events at the 750-room hotel and conference center. She is a graduate of theUniversity of Delaware.
Quino comes to Lancaster with more than five years experience in hospitality sales at theSheraton Harrisburg-Hershey. She has a degree in Business Management from thePennsylvania College of Technology.
