USA, San Francisco, California. August 28, 2018

W San Francisco, in the heart of San Francisco's SoMa neighborhood, is pleased to announce its upcoming “Gold Fever” guest room renovation that will begin on August 20. Inspired by San Francisco's rich gold mining history and its current ambitious search for fortunes, the “Gold Fever” emerges at W San Francisco as the modern-day Gold Rush in an exciting era of innovation in the city. Themes of San Francisco's culture and landmarks, such as its infamous dissolving fog, are present throughout the new transformation. Slated to be completed in 2019, the guest room upgrade will aim to enhance guests' overall experiences at the property.

“'Gold Fever' really speaks to W San Francisco's dynamic presence in the city, along with San Francisco's historic Gold Rush era and its energetic search for fortunes,” said Roger Huldi, general manager of W San Francisco. “We're excited to elevate our guest rooms with a fresh look, new amenities and a modern vibe that will resonate well with our local and visiting guests.”

With the exciting development expansion of the neighboring Moscone Center, one of the most successful convention centers in the country, W San Francisco is perfectly situated at the epicenter of technology and innovation. With 404 total guest rooms, including nine suites, W San Francisco continues to embody a chic and contemporary hotel with the new “Gold Fever” makeover.
