First Hospitality Group, Inc. Hires New GM at Iowa Towneplace Suites
Rosemont, IL - February 10, 2015 - based First Hospitality Group, Inc. (FHG) announced today that it has hired Thomas Murray as the new general manager at the TownePlace Suites Des Moines Urbandale in Johnston, Iowa. First Hospitality Group, Inc. President and COO Robert Habeeb made the announcement.
With 29 years of experience in hospitality management under his belt, Murray most recently specialized in problem solving, budget/cost controls, and driving sales and marketing strategies at the Country Inn & Suites in Clive, Iowa where he served as the general manager for 13 years. Aside from his role in hotel management, Murray is an active Board Member of the Iowa Lodging Association as well as the Greater Des Moines Convention & Visitors Bureau.
