Ocean Properties Completes Conversion of Holiday Inn Loagn Airport to Courtyard by Marriott

BOSTON, MA, October 6, 2008. Ocean Properties, Ltd. Hotels & Resorts of Portsmouth NH and Delray Beach FL has nearly completed its $15 million conversion of the Holiday Inn Logan Airport to the Courtyard by Marriott hotel at Logan Airport. The refurbished and rebranded property will open later this fall, providing 356 guestrooms, just one mile from Logan International Airport.

In addition to its airport proximity and convenient access via complimentary 24-hour hotel and train station shuttle, the hotel is located just three miles from downtown Boston, the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC), and the Financial District. Amenities include 3,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space, a full-service restaurant and complimentary on-site parking for guests.

Steven Nalen, who joined Ocean Properties in 2004 as general manager of the hotel will remain at the helm of the Courtyard. "Steve brings 28 years of experience in the hospitality industry in the metropolitan Boston area and a proven ability to motivate managers and associates to his responsibilities," said Tom Varley, VP of Operations for the management company and hotel owners. "In addition to providing strong leadership to his team and the renovation process with our contractors and Local 26, he has increased the hotel's service levels to what is expected of the upgraded hotel."

The Courtyard by Marriott Boston Logan guestrooms feature luxurious new beds, stunning bathrooms with massaging showerheads, roomy workspaces, comfortable seating and flat-screen TVs. Guests will appreciate the redesigned Business Library with high-speed, wireless Internet access and all the tools necessary to stay in touch, a 24/7 market for fresh, fast snacks and refreshments, and breakfast options to fit every schedule. The hotel will have first-rate exercise facilities and an indoor pool.
