LA's Hotel Kyoto Grand Welcomes New GM

LOS ANGELES, CA, July 22, 2008. Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. announced the appointment of Richard A. Gaines as General Manager for the Kyoto Grand Hotel and Gardens in Los Angeles.

The leading Los Angeles boutique hotel, which recently completed $8 million dollars in property improvements, is located in downtown Los Angeles near the Civic Center in 'Little Tokyo'. It offers 434 guestrooms as well as meeting space and a traditional Japanese garden.

Mr. Gaines has an extensive hospitality industry management background that spans more than 15 years. He joins Crestline from Sunstone Hotels where he was the General Manager for the Sheraton Cerritos. Prior to that role, he was General Manager for the Hilton Doubletree Carson Civic Plaza, the Radisson Beverly Pavilion, and the Beverly Plaza Hotel.
