Westin Boston Waterfront Appoints Director Convention Services

BOSTON, MA, May 9, 2008. The Westin Boston Waterfront is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Curry to Director of Convention Services. Prior to his current position Mr. Curry had worked as the Director of Catering and Convention Services at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge.

As Director of Convention Services, Curry will be responsible for generation, successful achievement, and future development of the hotel’s convention services operations to maximize hotel revenue. “Tim brings extraordinary experience and a strong record of success to this position,” said David Connor, general manager of The Westin Boston Waterfront. “We will look to him to build upon the relationships we have with our current clientele and to seamlessly incorporate our newly unveiled Harbor Ballroom and meeting space into current event operations. Tim will be a welcomed addition to our talented catering team.”

Curry has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality catering field. In addition to his previous position at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge, Curry held positions at the Harvard Club of Boston, The Westin Waltham, The Boston Harbor Hotel, Le Meridien Boston, Hyatt Harborside, Hyatt Los Angeles International Airport, and The Hyatt Regency Greenwich.
