Judy Hendrick Joins Aimbridge as CFO

Former Wyndham executive will oversee financial operations of rapidly growing hotel management and investment company

DALLAS, TX, May 7, 2008. Aimbridge Hospitality has appointed hospitality-, real-estate and financial-industry veteran Judy Hendrick to the position of Chief Financial Officer.

Hendrick comes to Dallas-based Aimbridge Hospitality from Wyndham Hotels International, where she served as Executive Vice President - Chief Investment Officer, and Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer, during her 16-year tenure there. She has held positions with major financial institutions such as Chase Manhattan, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and First Republic Bank, and also has managed commercial portfolios for major public real-estate investment trusts.

As Aimbridge Hospitality’s Chief Financial Officer, Hendrick is responsible for debt and equity capital sourcing/structuring for acquisitions and hotel development/re-development. She also manages the financial, cash-management and real estate aspects of all properties and partnerships.

“We’re delighted to have Judy Hendrick aboard as Chief Financial Officer,” said Dave Johnson, President and CEO of Aimbridge Hospitality. “We’ve built a strong, experienced management team that’s leading Aimbridge’s management growth and development success while generating substantial returns for our investment partners. Having Judy in charge of our financial operations makes our executive team that much stronger.”

Hendrick says her immediate goal as Chief Financial Officer is to ensure that the company’s accounting and reporting systems are in position to accommodate and support the sustained growth Aimbridge Hospitality is experiencing, as well as to provide its constituents with the kind of quality information they require.

“We are finalizing an equity fund through an affiliated entity which will provide us with growth capital on a more programmatic basis,” Hendrick said. “This will facilitate an efficient and streamlined process to ensure that we are well-positioned to acquire hotel properties as the market becomes more adaptive to buyers than we have seen in the past few years.

“At just five years old, Aimbridge has established itself as a highly regarded hotel-management and investment organization with a very stable base of quality management contracts and income, and strong relationships with the industry’s highest-level capital providers,” she added. “This sets the stage for continued and sustainable growth in the years to come, and I’m excited to be part of it.”

Hendrick serves as Treasurer of Ambridge’s Board of Trustees, and is a member of the Dallas Chamber of Commerce Executive Women's Roundtable. She holds a Bachelor’s in Science degree from Kansas State University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas.
