Mr. Brian Jungling, Vice President of Operations for Harris Hotel Group hosted dignitaries from Richland County and the City of Columbia to hard hat construction tours of the 112-room Candlewood Suites Hotel located here. Set to open May 20, 2008 this property is the first in the Candlewood Suites brand to enter the Columbia/ Ft. Jackson, South Carolina market. The all-suite, extended stay hotel is being developed by American Hotel Development Partners in a joint venture with Glenmont Capital Management, LLC. The hotel’s operations, sales and marketing will be professionally managed by Harris Hotel Group.
