LAKEWAY, TX. July 31, 2017 - Lakeway Resort and Spa - nestled in the western corner of Travis County and situated on the south shore of Lake Travis in the scenic Texas Hill Country - welcomes new leader, General Manager, Blake Doran. With more than 10 years of hospitality experience, Doran will continue to create a distinct, present lake getaway while elevating the resort guest service, guest relations and revenue growth of the 168-room resort, located 25 miles west of downtown Austin.

Previously, Doran served as general manager at Hilton Garden Inn Austin Downtown Convention Center, Hilton Garden Inn Dallas Market Center and SpringHill Suites by Marriott Atlanta Kennesaw in Kennesaw, Ga. Doran's hospitality career began at Southwest Texas State University where he studied business, management, marketing and related support services.
