Residence Inn Hotel to Open in Washington, D.C

Managed by Stonebridge Companies, the sleek and modernized hotel design allows extended-stay guests a place to thrive on the road

WASHINGTON, D.C. March 14, 2017 – The 170-suite Residence Inn by Marriott in Washington, D.C. is scheduled to open Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Located at 1233 First Street SE, the all-suite Residence Inn Washington Capitol Hill/Navy Yard will operate as a Marriott franchise owned and managed by Stonebridge Companies of Denver, Colorado.

Located one block from the Navy Yard/Ballpark Metro Station, one mile from the National Mall and five miles from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, the Residence Inn Washington Capitol Hill/Navy Yard offers its guests convenient access to the city’s chief landmarks, including Capitol Hill, the White House, Washington Nationals Stadium and the Washington Monument. Revenue Management: Technology and Big Data
Like most businesses, hotels are relying on technology and data to drive almost every area of their operations, but perhaps this is especially true for hotel Revenue Managers. There has been an explosion of technology tools which generate a mountain of data – all in an effort to generate profitable pricing strategies. It falls to Revenue Managers to determine which tools best support their operations and then to integrate them efficiently into their existing systems. Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Online Reputation Management software are basic tools; others include channel managers, benchmark reports, rate shopping tools and review systems, to name a few. The benefits of technology tools which automate large segments of a Revenue Manager’s business are enormous.
