February 23, 2017 - UNICO 20°87° Hotel Riviera Maya - a one-of-a-kind, all-inclusive hotel for the sophisticated traveler scheduled to debut this March - proudly announces Fernando Garcia Rossette as General Manager to its executive team. In this role, Rossette will be responsible for managing the hotel's day-to-day success, overseeing all operational aspects of the 448-room property, while maximizing revenue and maintaining focus on strategic goals.

Rossette brings more than 30 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry to UNICO 20˚87˚. Most recently, having worked at Grand Velas Riviera Maya, where he oversaw the pre-opening and opening strategies and all aspects of operations of three hotels under one umbrella, including 491 suites food and beverage and function space. Prior to that position, he served at multiple notable hotels throughout Mexico from Las Palomas Beach & Golf Resort and Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. Several hotels and resorts earned prestigious awards and acclaims while under Rossette's management, including Conde Nast Traveler's “Gold List,” AAA's “Five Diamond Award,” Leading Hotels of the World “Quality Assurance Recognition” and Travel + Leisure's “Gourmet Award's Best Hotel Restaurant.”

Situated south of Playa del Carmen in Mexico, UNICO 20˚87˚ Hotel Riviera Maya is set to debut and welcome vacationers March 2017.
