CHARLOTTE, N.C. January 31, 2017 — The Residence Inn Charlotte University Research Park is kicking off 2017 with a new look following a multimillion dollar renovation, it was announced by Eric Knesel, General Manager. The property originally opened in March of 2006.

The hotel refresh involved both public areas as well as accommodations and included:
•New furniture, paint, carpeting, and soft goods in each of the 91 guest rooms to provide a modern, contemporary decor

•New furniture and decor in the Lobby/Gatehouse as well as the meeting room (240 square feet

•Resurfacing of all sidewalks and re-staining stairwells

•Swimming pool resurfaced plus new patio and pool furniture
