Cox & Kings, The Americas Appoints Warren H. Chang Chief Operating Officer

LOS ANGELES, CA. JANUARY 23, 2017 - Cox & Kings, The Americas announces the appointment of Warren H. Chang as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Chang will oversee the company's American operations based in Los Angeles.

Joining Cox & Kings after a decade-long career at Travelzoo, Chang will bring his extensive digital experience to luxury travel's professional community and its clients. “I am honored to join a brand as storied as Cox & Kings,” said Chang. “I look forward to working with the very valued members of the professional community to bring new, exceptional experiences to the discerning traveler.” Chang brings a deep understanding of market and societal trends to the Cox and Kings' offering.

In a newly expanded role, Patrick Richards adds President of Cox & Kings, The Americas, to his existing responsibilities as Chief Commercial Officer for Cox & Kings, Ltd, a position he has held since 2013. Richards will continue to be based in the company's London hub. Chang will report into Richards.

Chang most recently served as Travelzoo's Vice President and General Manager, Search, where he oversaw the company's travel search engines and Fly.com, which he launched in 2009. During his tenure at Travelzoo, Chang helped the company's travel partners generate over $1B in sales. Prior to joining Travelzoo, Chang was a marketing consultant with clients ranging from global lifestyle brands to financial services companies catering to high net worth individuals.

Chang's personal interests naturally include travel. Proudly he has stepped foot on all seven continents including off-the-beaten-path destinations such as North Korea. He is also a long-time volunteer and past NYC chapter co-chair of Room to Read, a global educational nonprofit that builds schools and libraries, funds girls' scholarships, and is one of the world's largest children's book publishers.

A graduate of New York University's Stern School of Business and NYU's Wagner Graduate School of Public Service Chang has also received a Management Certificate from University of California, Berkeley Center for Executive Education.
