Intercontinental David Tel Aviv Will Host 3 Eurpoean Michelin-Star Chefs for First

TEL AVIV, IL. January 5, 2017 - The InterContinental David Tel Aviv will host three master chefs from Marseille, Berlin and Amsterdam for a three-week Taste of Michelin festival. From Jan. 9th to 29th, visitors will experience five-course tasting menus showcasing the works of epicurean wonder by each chef in the hotel's Aubergine restaurant.

Each of the chefs will prepare cuisine inspired by their own interpretation of the Israeli culinary scene. This will be the first ever multi-Michelin chef experience to come to Israel.

The first chef to arrive will be Eberhard Lange of the InterContinental Berlin's Hugos restaurant. Aubergine will feature Chef Lange's delicacies from Jan. 9 to Jan. 15. Under Lange's leadership, Hugos is the highest rated restaurant in Berlin. From Jan. 16 to Jan. 19, Lionel Levy from InterContinental Marseille will serve as the chef-in-residence. Levy is the head chef of the hotel's Alcyone restaurant and is regarded as the leader of the new Mediterranean cuisine. The last chef taking part in the Taste of Michelin festival is Chef Roger Rassin, from the InterContinental Amsterdam's La Rive, from Jan. 23 to Jan. 29. In 2013, Rassin was awarded the title of SVH Master Chef, the highest possible culinary honor in the Netherlands.
