Riverside Developers Tap EXR as Exclusive Leasing and Marketing Firm For Retail Space at 55 Wythe and Highly Acclaimed William Vale Hotel
Wylie Dufresne Signs First Lease; Leaving Approximately 35,000 Square Feet of Space Available For Rent
BROOKLYN, N.Y. November 24, 2016 — Riverside Developers today announced that they have enlisted Brooklyn-based brokerage EXR to exclusively handle the leasing and marketing for 55 Wythe, the 38,000-square-foot retail destination at the base of The William Vale, Williamsburg's newest hotel that recently opened its doors.
The first tenant to sign at 55 Wythe is renowned chef, Wylie Dufresne, who will be taking approximately 1,600 square feet of ground level space to open Du's Donuts and Coffee.

The 38,000-square-foot retail space located at 55 Wythe consists of two floors:
· The ground level space features 18,000 square feet of retail space with ceiling heights ranging from 17.5 to 20.5 feet.
· The lower level consists of 20,000 square feet of sub-level space with ceiling heights ranging from 13 to 16 feet.

A visible landmark in North Brooklyn due to the towering hotel atop 55 Wythe, the Wythe retail corridor is widely known for its shopping, retail and nightlife. EXR is already in discussions with brands in the tech, fashion and design industries who are interested in taking space.

Already a popular location for cuisine, both Wylie Dufresne and The William Vale's exclusive food and beverage partner, Andrew Carmellini and the NoHo Hospitality Group, will help attract tenants to 55 Wythe. Carmellini opened Westlight, the 22nd-floor rooftop bar serving rare spirits and craft cocktails with panoramic skyline views, unveiled Mister Dips, a burger and soft serve airstream over the summer and most recently opened Leuca, a Southern Italian restaurant with wood-fired cuisine.
As North Williamsburg expects over 600 hotel rooms available within the next year, the area is also slated to add an estimated 5,000 new residential units within the next few years, and over 500,000 square feet of office space. 55 Wythe/The William Vale is 10 minutes from Manhattan by taxi, a six minute walk to the East River Ferry, a seven minute walk to the Bedford L subway stop, a nine minute walk to the Nassau G subway stop, a 15 minute walk from the Marcy JMZ subway stop, and 15 minutes from LaGuardia Airport by taxi, or 25 minutes from JFK Airport by taxi. The William Vale has dedicated valet parking occupying two floors of the building. Street parking is also available in the neighborhood.
