Kim Rediker Joins Antlers at Vail Hotel as Assistant General Manager

. November 14, 2016

VAIL, CO. November 14, 2016 - Kim Rediker has joined Antlers at Vail as its new Assistant General Manager, announced the condominium hotel's GM Magda King. A Vail resident since 1992 when she graduated from the University of Georgia, Rediker has extensive Vail Valley hospitality management experience, including as general manager of both Simba Run Resort and the Inn & Suites at Riverwalk, and as assistant general manager of Tivoli Lodge. Antlers at Vail underwent a search to replace former Assistant General Manager King when she was promoted to general manager on the recent retirement of the hotel's 29-year veteran GM Rob LeVine.

“The Antlers' well-known commitment to premier quality and excellent customer service is embraced by the staff and owners alike,” says Rediker, “and I am thrilled to be a part of its 'the answer is yes, now what is the question?' culture here. I look forward to a great first winter, meeting our new and returning guests and helping to make their vacations memorable.”

In addition to her many years of hotel management experience, Rediker has a strong commitment to the community, currently serving on the Vail Recreation District Board of Directors and the Town of Vail Commission on Special Events. She also served an eight-year stint on the Vail Town Council, including two years as Mayor Pro Tem. Her active community service role was important to the Antlers, which was honored in 2016 with Vail Valley Partnership's Community Impact Award for its numerous outreach projects.

“Kim brings with her an amazing combination of industry knowledge and experience, community involvement and service-oriented attitude that meets every item on our wish list for assistant general manager,” says GM King. “We feel very lucky to have her join our team, and I have no doubt that our guests will enjoy working with her as much as we already do.”

Rediker's husband and two high-school-age children join her in her passion for community service and the whole family is active in outdoor pursuits as well. “I ski and snowboard, and love cross country skiing and snowshoeing,” Rediker says. “In the summer I play a lot of golf, enjoy hiking and cruiser biking and think that tubing down the Colorado or Gore Greek is a fantastic way to spend a Sunday afternoon.”
