SHOAL BAY EAST, AL. September 28, 2016 - Zemi Beach House, the luxury boutique property that opened this February on Anguilla's East End, has announced the appointment of Paulo Paias to the role of General Manager.

Mr. Paias brings to Zemi Beach House more than 25 years of hospitality industry experience with a focus on luxury boutique hotels, especially those that serve the ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) community. He specializes in launching new businesses as well as turning around under-performing properties to achieve increased sales and profits. Mr. Paias has a proven track record of success managing hotel projects and campaigns that enhance brand awareness and facilitate expansion into new markets.

“Since its launch, Zemi Beach House has become a burgeoning hot spot for the affluent traveler that seeks authentic, uniquely Anguillan experiences,” said Paias. “Having worked with Trust Hospitality over the past year, I'm excited to join the team at one of their newest properties and utilize my international hospitality experience to sustain the hotel's family dynamic, values and continued success.”

At Zemi Beach House, Mr. Paias will lead all aspects of hotel operations including guest services and satisfaction, hotel administration, overseeing marketing efforts and managing the executive team at the resort.

“Paulo is genuinely motivational and has a positive personality that makes him an ideal leader for our hotel staff. We're certain that he will play an integral role in Zemi Beach House's bright future,” said Patrick Goddard, president and chief operating officer of Trust Hospitality. “His expertise and background in the luxury hotel space is instrumental for providing extraordinary customer service to our guests.”

Prior to joining Zemi Beach House, Mr. Paias served as Managing Director of Asia for Trust Hospitality where he was responsible for operations and expansion in Asia for two five-star properties under construction in Singapore. Mr. Paias defined the marketing strategies, analyzed the properties' market positioning, helped define the brand's manifesto and hand-picked the hotels' pre-opening Executive Teams. Before Asia, he acted as General Manager for numerous hotel properties in the UK, Portugal, Spain, and Morocco. Most recently he served as General Manager for The Pearl Marrakech and Adam Park Hotel & Spa in Morocco.
