Heroes of Hospitality Inaugural Gala Hotel Industry Leaders Give Back

. September 28, 2016

SCOTTSDALE, AZ. September 28, 2016 - Earlier this year, PHD Hospitality, a successful hotel management, development and interior design company, recognized its 10th Anniversary. During a recent roundtable discussion, President and CEO, Dawn Berry stated, “I can't think of a better time to celebrate this milestone than during one of the top hotel industry events in the world, the Lodging Conference, which brings together the hotel industry's most influential owners, operators, presidents, CEO's, and dealmakers, and it's held right here in our own back yard.” “Like any other new business, this one came with its challenges and it's often easy to overlook the many achievements along the way. Yet, there's not one day that goes by that I am not grateful for our success,” states Berry. In the spirit of hospitality, it seems only fitting that Berry would turn that same success into making a profound difference for both others, and for the world. Earlier this year, and in the wake of the 10th Anniversary, Berry formed what is today, Heroes Network Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) foundation committed to bringing people and resources together, in contribution to those in need; making a profound difference in the lives of others to last a lifetime.

The anniversary celebration, will take place on Wednesday, September 28, with over 250 in attendance, consisting of hotel industry leaders, colleagues, business partners, clients, business associates, friends, family and philanthropists, at Mastro's City Hall restaurant. “We have planned a spectacular evening, honoring the past, present and the future of PHD Hospitality and with many who have contributed to us” said Berry. The evening will begin with a Red Carpet Welcome that will lead the guests to an open bar cocktail reception in the Grande Courtyard where they will have the opportunity to mingle as well as participate in the silent auction and other activities benefiting the Heroes Network Foundation and its Honorees of the evening: The Museum of Flight Aeronautical Science Pathways program, KNIX Million Can Crusade and Step Up School Mesa, followed by a private dinner.
