Former Sous Chef Takes the Helm of The Osprey Fireside Grill

BEAVER CREEK, CO. September 27, 2016 - The Osprey at Beaver Creek, A RockResort is excited to announce the appointment of Ryan Murray to the position of executive chef. Bringing more than 15 years of extensive knowledge and experience, Chef Ryan will oversee the culinary operations at The Osprey Fireside Grill, Osprey Events & Banquets and the exclusive Trappers Cabin, all known for innovative farm-to-table cuisine.

Chef Murray worked his way up from the kitchen line to executive chef with a variety of luxury hotels and restaurants including The Arrabelle at Vail Square, A RockResort and Equinox Resort and Spa in Manchester, Vermont. Prior to his most recent role as Sous Chef at The Osprey, Chef Ryan was the sous chef and banquet sous chef at the Vail Marriot Mountain Resort.

General Manager Houston Perkins praised Murray for his philosophy to keep recipes simple, authentic, and fresh and let the product speak for itself. “We are pleased to welcome Murray as our new executive chef. Chef Ryan received his formal culinary training from Indiana University of Pennsylvania Academy of Culinary Arts.
