The Omni Grove Park Inn Appoints Christopher Levine as Director of Sales

ASHEVILLE, N.C. September 14, 2016 - The Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, N.C. announces the appointment of Christopher Levine as director of sales. Drawing on more than a decade of experience at upscale properties along the east coast, Levine oversees all sales efforts for the historic Blue Ridge Mountain resort. His responsibilities include devising innovative strategies to increase bookings from meetings and events clientele and maintaining a creative, highly productive environment to inspire the resort sales team.

Levine joins the Omni Hotels & Resorts family following 13 years of success in sales with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. Most recently, Levine served as director of sales and marketing at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina in Cambridge, Md. During his time at the property, Levine effectively redeployed sales efforts to concentrate on regional markets and established a new baseline and understanding of transient customers. His efforts were rewarded with Hyatt's Markie Award for best public relations tactic for mid-sized hotels in 2016.

Previously, Levine was director of sales and marketing for Hyatt Regency Sarasota, where he was responsible for a growth in net production and increase in gross production during a two year period. He also spent just more than two years as associate director of sales for Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina, and more than six years as senior sales manager for Hyatt Hotels & Resorts.

Hailing from Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada, Levine earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in marketing and management from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, La. He and his wife Natalie have three sons. During his free time, Levine enjoys playing and coaching sports, as well as traveling and spending time with his family's dog Chloe, a black Labrador/Pitbull mix.
