The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation Names Two Key Members to its Hospitality Team

Coleman Wallace Named General Manager of Williamsburg Lodge and Shaun Coleman Named Sales and Marketing Director for The Foundation.

WILLIAMSBURG, VA. September 8, 2016 - The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is pleased to welcome two new key players to its hospitality team: Coleman Wallace, General Manager of Williamsburg Lodge and Shaun Coleman, Sales and Marketing Director for The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. The two executive members join the team after decades of experience in the hospitality industry.

Coleman Wallace, now General Manager at the Williamsburg Lodge, joins the team with more than 21 years of experience in leadership roles with Marriott International. Thriving in a fast-paced, competitive environment, Wallace most recently served as the Director of Operations at the JW Marriott New Orleans and was responsible for the Food and Beverage and Room Operations of the 501-room property. As the Williamsburg Lodge transitions to the Marriott Autograph collection, Wallace will play an integral role in the process with his demonstrated executive leadership and organizational skills at executing strategies for financial growth, proven motivational and leadership success, and a track record of increasing associate engagement and customer loyalty.

Additionally, Wallace co-chaired the Assistant General Manager/Director of Operations Atlanta Business Council, and led the 2011 Children's Miracle Network Committee. A graduate from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, Wallace earned his Bachelor Degree in General Studies, College of Literature, Science and Arts.

Shaun Coleman joins Colonial Williamsburg as the Sales and Marketing Director. In his new role, Coleman will oversee sales and marketing for the Colonial Williamsburg's Hospitality division. Most recently, Coleman served as the Area Director of Sales and Marketing at Interstate Hotels & Resorts, where he previously held two additional positions. A world-class sales and marketing professional with a track record of exceeding both quarterly and annual financial goals, Coleman has also held roles at Hollywood Beach Marriott, both Sheraton Fort Lauderdale properties, Jupiter Beach Resort and Canopy Palms Resort. Coleman graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor Degree in Neuro-Biology.
